🖥️ Stock Multi Chart

Up to 9 stock and index candle charts on one screen, each with its own timeframe, EMA, Bollinger, volume and RSI(14). Delayed Yahoo Finance data. Not advice.

Loading Data: Yahoo Finance (via our server, may be delayed)

US regular hours are 22:30–05:00 Korea time during US daylight saving time and 23:30–06:00 otherwise. The Korean market trades 09:00–15:30.

On a phone the charts stack vertically. Up to 4 is easiest to follow on one screen.

Prices are not streamed: while a market is open the page re-reads them every 60 seconds from our server, which fetches them from Yahoo Finance (daily bars change every 5 minutes and weekly bars every hour because of the server cache). Korean stocks are about 20 minutes late. Each chart's time is the exchange's local time. The RSI badge's overbought / oversold label uses the last closed bar; the forming bar's value is shown separately. Settings are saved in this browser, and the copied link opens the same screen.

For information only, not investment advice. Prices come from Yahoo Finance via our server and may be delayed 15–20 minutes or more depending on the exchange, or interrupted. Charts: TradingView Lightweight Charts™

What this tool does

Keep several stock charts open on one screen, split into 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9, with a focus on US indices and stocks. It opens with the Nasdaq 100, the S&P 500, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix on 15-minute candles. Each chart has its own symbol and timeframe (5m, 15m, 1h, 1D, 1W), optional EMA 20 and 50, Bollinger Bands (20, 2) and volume, plus the price, change vs previous close, an RSI(14) badge, the time of the latest price and whether the market is open. Prices come from Yahoo Finance via our server; Korean stocks are about 20 minutes late.

How it is calculated

Each chart loads a fixed span for its timeframe (5m: 5 days, 15m: 1 month, 1h: 6 months, 1D: 2 years, 1W: 10 years) through our server relay (/api/market/chart). Because the span is fixed per timeframe, every visitor watching the same symbol shares one server cache entry, and two charts with the same symbol and timeframe load the data only once. Symbols whose market is open (or closed less than 45 minutes ago, to catch late closing prices) are re-read every 60 seconds; closed markets are checked only every 10 minutes to see whether trading has started. Indicators are computed in the browser: EMA 20 and 50 (exponential moving averages), Bollinger = 20-bar simple average ± 2 standard deviations, RSI 14 (Wilder smoothing). Change = price ÷ previous trading day's close − 1. That close is taken from the daily bars, because intraday data leaves out the Korean closing auction and differs from the official close (so intraday charts also load daily bars every 5 minutes). Weekly charts compare with the previous weekly close. The RSI badge's overbought (70 or above), oversold (30 or below) or neutral label uses the last closed bar; the value including the forming bar is shown separately.

Reading the screen, section by section

Top bar: layout, indicators, link, full screen

Layout offers 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 charts. On a wide screen 4 sit 2×2, 6 sit 3×2 and 9 sit 3×3; below 1,000px wide, 6 and 9 drop to two columns, and below 700px (phones) every chart stacks in one column. Removing charts keeps their symbol and timeframe, so adding them back restores them (the default nine are the Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla and the PHLX Semiconductor index). The Indicators buttons apply to every chart. On the right is the time prices were last received. The line below gives US regular hours in Korea time, starting at 22:30 or 23:30 depending on whether the US is on daylight saving time.

Chart header: symbol, timeframe, expand

The symbol button shows the name and code. Tapping it opens a search box and grouped lists: world indices, US large caps, US ETFs, US sector ETFs, Korean indices, Korean large caps, Korean ETFs and sector ETFs, Japanese large caps, currencies, commodities, interest rates and volatility. You can search by Korean or English name or by code. For a symbol not in the list, typing its Yahoo Finance symbol adds a 'Use' line; if the symbol does not exist the chart says so and offers a retry button. Expand shows that chart alone and large; tap it again or press Esc to return to the split view.

Price line and time of price

The price is the latest one our server received, with its currency in small type (none for indices). KRW is shown in whole won, JPY to 0.1 yen and others to two decimals. The change compares with the previous trading day's close; on a weekly chart it compares with the previous weekly close. The RSI badge shows the last closed bar's RSI(14) and its zone, marked 'closed'. While a bar is still forming, its change from the open and the RSI including it are shown separately. The bottom line shows Market open or Market closed, the time of the latest price in the exchange's local time with the city, and '~20 min delay' for Korean and Japanese symbols.

Chart: candles, EMA, Bollinger, volume

Each chart draws every bar in its span and first shows at least the last 60 bars, fitted to the chart width. Drag to move, scroll or pinch to zoom. The yellow line is EMA 20, the blue line EMA 50, and the purple lines are the Bollinger upper band, middle (20-bar average) and lower band (± 2 standard deviations); the bars at the bottom are volume (indices and currencies may have no volume or figures that differ from the exchange's). Nights and weekends without trading are skipped so the bars join up. Times on the axis are in this device's time zone.

Keeping it open

Symbols whose market is open are re-read every 60 seconds, and so are those closed less than 45 minutes ago, to catch late closing prices. After that a closed market is checked only every 10 minutes, so leaving the page open at night or over the weekend sends almost no requests. Within a bar only the last candle and the indicator end points are updated; when a new bar starts the chart grows by one. While the tab is hidden, refreshing and drawing pause, and on return the backlog is fetched and drawn at once. If the server briefly turns requests away (503) or the network drops, only that chart tries again 30 seconds later. Symbols that do not exist are not requested again.

Things to know

Frequently asked questions

Are these real-time prices?

They are not streamed tick by tick over a WebSocket like the crypto charts. Our server fetches them from Yahoo Finance and gives every visitor the same values for one minute, and the page re-reads them every 60 seconds while a market is open. Some exchanges publish prices late, and Korean stocks are about 20 minutes behind. Each chart shows the time of its latest price in the exchange's local time.

Doesn't a 9-chart layout send lots of requests?

Each chart loads one symbol and timeframe once a minute, so even 9 charts make at most 9 requests a minute (plus daily bars every 5 minutes for intraday charts, for the previous close), and closed markets only one every 10 minutes. Charts with the same symbol and timeframe share one request, and the server answers from a cache shared by all visitors. If it briefly turns requests away (503), the chart tries again 30 seconds later.

Are the RSI badge's overbought and oversold labels buy or sell signals?

No. They only name the zone: overbought when the last closed bar's RSI(14) is 70 or above, oversold at 30 or below, neutral in between. In a strong trend RSI can stay in a zone for a long time, and this tool does not recommend any trade.

Where are my settings saved?

The layout, each chart's symbol and timeframe, and the indicator toggles stay in this browser's storage (localStorage) and are never sent to the server. They are also kept in the address bar as ?l=4&c=^NDX.15m,005930.KS.1d (^ becomes %5E), so sharing the link opens the same set-up.

For reference only, not investment advice. Prices are fetched from Yahoo Finance by our server and may be delayed.
